Can you help us fundraise?
At 409th Scouts, fundraising is key. We rely on grants and donations to ensure we can renovate our building, upgrade our equipment and meet the running costs of the building.
All funding that comes into the group is split across new equipment, heating, water, electric and building insurance. Each year all scouts groups across the UK pay somthing called 'Capitation' to the Scout Association which is an annual accident insurance premium.
As well as the weekly subs the Scout hroup also organises a number of fund-raising activites during the year. We have sponsored walks and bike rides, we bag pack in local supermarkets, hold an annual car wash, and have a stall at our local schoor fairs to raise extra funds for the group.
We couldnt do all this fundraising without the volunteers and parents / carers. If you would like to support or know a business that could help support us please contact us.

We were lucky enough to be nominated for the Asda Foundation Green Tokens. This allows the local community to vote for which charity they would like to. We was up against some tough competition but managed to get enough tokens to be granted £200.
We would like to thank the Asda Foundation and our local community for voting for us.
Over the summer we had lots of renovating that needed to be done to our building, this wouldnt of been possible without the support from another local business coming to the rescue.
The amazing team from Viring Media in Bagluey gave up their own spare time to help paint the inside and outside of our building, do a spot of gardening, and make our building shine.
Thank you to all the Virgin Media staff.
