Fundraising

We are an independent, registered charity. We receive no funding from central or local government. Donations of any size are very welcome and enable us to offer an outstanding scouting experience to hundreds of young people.

Easy Fundraising

Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising free donations for the 409th Manchester Scout Group with easyfundraising?

  2. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping.
  3. After you’ve checked out, the retailer will make a donation to the 409th Manchester Scout Group at no extra cost to you whatsoever!

There are no catches or hidden charges and the 409th Manchester Scout Group will be really grateful for your donations.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
